Noah Smith [Parents] was born on 20 Mar 1756 in Monmouth, NJ. He died on 22 Dec 1835 in Greene Co., PA. He married Nancy Anne Hoge in 1777 in USA.

Noah was a Quaker; buried in Smith II cemetery in Greene Co.., PA.; In Rev. War from NJ in 1776 . It is through this Noah Smith that this family can trace their ancestry back to the year 300 to a Roman counsel, and then forward to many of the royal houses of Europe. Wife Anne Hoge was a Quaker. Noah buried in Smith II Cemetery in Jefferson Twp., Greene Co., PA.The line of Noah Smith goes back in time to the earliest days in England, Scotland, and Connects to many of the royal house of both England, Scotland, Ireland, and most of Europe. The Earliest known was a Roman Counsel ca 300 of Gallo-Roman era of Gaul; and earliest known Kings of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Kiev, Spain, Aragon, Navarre, and the Holy Roman Emperors. The Smith line also brings to light many of the Quaker families, from the earliest days of the Protestant religion in England, and then to the American colonies of Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and earliest Quaker Settlements in New Jersey and Virginia. Descendants of these same lines include Presidents of the United States including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, William H. Taft, Richard M. Nixon, and others.
If your line descends from Noah Smith, herein recorded, then ALL of these are also your ancestors. They present an illustrious heritage, and all have helped make you what you are. Of course, like all families, there are some good, and some bad, but all were fascinating in their own right. If you read and get acquainted with all these forefathers and mothers, and study where they lived and died, then you will have very good back ground in Ancient History of Europe, and a great geography lesson. I am greatly indebted to Mrs. Linda Levin of Massachusetts, who did most of the basic research on the older lines, and made the first connection with the Washbourne Lines, which made the connection to all the royal houses of Europe. Also, Thomas C. Smith, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1986, added much of the early Smith Family of Humberstone information to extend the Smith line to its earliest known era (to date).
