Roberta Wilda Durigg Mounts, 89, of Washington, died Friday, 2, 2001, in her home.
She was born September 3, 1912, in Buffalo Township, a Christian M. and Mary Elizabeth Grandon Durigg.
Mrs. Mounts was a lifetime member and oldest living East Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Washington.
She was a 1932 graduate of Taylorstown High School, where she star basketball player.
Mrs. Mounts was a homemaker.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting salt shakers and sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates.
On September 30, 1939, in Washington, with the Rev. DeBolt she married Melvin Elmer Mounts, who died December 28, 1981.
Surviving are four sons, Dr. James R. Durig of Kansas City, Melvin E. Mounts Jr. of Green Valley, Ariz., the Rev. Bruce West Mifflin and Earl Mounts of Pittsburgh; three Douglas T. Durig, Dr. Bryan R. Durig, and Stacey Ann Durig four great-granddaughters.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are five brothers and sisters.
